Garni Das SONNALP is only a few steps away from the shore of Lake Achen and about a 10-minute walk from the swimming beach, the center of Maurach, and the Rofan Cable Car. Spa facilities include an aromatic steam bath, a Finnish sauna, a hot tub (only in summer), a Kneipp basin, a bio sauna. In winter, the free ski bus stops directly opposite the Garni Das SONNALP and takes you all 3 ski areas in the region. The cross-country ski runs (a total of 124 mi) start opposite the car park. In summer, the hotel offers a large program of activities, including guided hikes, climbing, archery, and bicycle tours.
