The modern Amande hotel is located in the heart of Southern Moravia in Hustopeče, close to the D2 highway, about 16 mi south of Brno. It provides a spa center with saunas and Kneip path. The Amande hotel is an interesting complex of modern and historic buildings, including the Renaissance-style Dům Pánů z Vizovice (The House of the Lords of Vizovice). The house of the mother of the first president of Czechoslovakia, Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, originally stood on the grounds of the hotel.
