About it
Restored under the patronage of His Royal Highness, Prince Joachim, Kokkedal Castle is a well-preserved medieval castle with impressive views over the Liim Fjord. Kokkedal Castle was built on castle mounds that date back to the Middle Ages; sometime during the 14th century and is handy to some of the most beautiful beaches in Northern Europe.
Located in North Jutland, Kokkedal Castle still includes watchman’s galleries, one yard-thick walls and a secret passage that passes under the moat and drawbridge.
All the historic guest rooms have canopy beds while the 8 fully furnished holiday apartments all have their own sun terrace and access to sauna and swimming pool during the summer. There is also an out-door tennis and badminton court.
