About it
This 16th century Engadine mansion is nestled in a pretty hamlet, in a pastoral setting, and offers antique furniture, lovely bedrooms and quality in every detail. The hotel, built in 1590, was originally a farmhouse owned by the Moeli family from Italy. Later, the home was bought by the aristocratic Von Salis family. The noble heritage of the building can be seen today in its yard-thick walls, handsome craftsmanship, beautiful wood paneling, outstanding paintings, handsome beamed and frescoed ceilings and colorful ceramic fireplaces. The reception area features handsome antiques, and the hotel's rooms and public spaces are traditionally furnished.
