Gartmore House was originally built in 1793 is steeped in history from a private residence and the West front being re-designed by David Barclay one of Charles Rennie Mackintosh`s pupils, each room has a story to tell. Set in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park Gartmore House Bed and Breakfast offers free onsite parking and free Wifi. With 100 acres of land, there are breathtaking views stretching 25 miles towards Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument. Guests at Gartmore House can enjoy an array of activities in the surroundings including Golf, climbing, hiking and cycling, boat trips not to mention visitors attractions of Glengoyne Distillery and Deanston Distillery. All of our rooms include Tea and coffee making facilities, irons and ironing boards, and hairdryers. Most of the rooms will feature period decor and historic character. Gartmore is less than 6 miles from Lake of Menteith, 10 miles from Loch Katrine, and 12 miles from Loch Lomond. Stirling Train Station by car is 30mins away and Glasgow Airport 45mins.
