The Michelin Guide's review
Once the seat of the Hohenlohe princes, this small town has preserved its architectural unity. The castle was built between the late 16C and late 17C. The magnificent Knights' Hall is typical of the transition between the Renaissance and the Baroque styles. The gardens, peopled with statues, ranging from grotesque to more classical, end with a charming lattice-work orangery.
