The Michelin Guide's review
The late-17C summer residence of King Jan III Sobieski, this splendid Baroque villa was one of the world's first public museums. Of particular interest are the Crimson Room, Etruscan Study, the Royal apartments, as well as the Gallery of Polish portraits. Set in landscaped grounds and a formal garden, which occupy a two-level terrace whose sculptures depict Love, Wilanów estate is truly an architectural jewel.
