The Michelin Guide's review
Santa Cruz Museum occupies a fine Plateresque edifice, whose façade is the work of Covarrubias. The interior architecture is notable for the size of the nave and the transept, which form a Greek cross on two levels. Also note the elegant Plateresque patio and magnificent staircase. The museum houses a fine collection of paintings and some fifteen canvases by El Greco, giving an insight into the artist's style.
