The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Located along the banks of the Ill in a building dating from 1997 by architect Adrien Fainsilber, the museum's rich collections embrace a wide spectrum of modern art (1850 to the present day). The main trends are represented (Impressionism, Fauvism, Cubism, etc) with works by great masters (from Bouguereau to Kandinsky) and famous artists from Strasbourg (Gustave Doré and particularly Jean Arp). New artistic movements are celebrated through exhibitions that change in line with the museum's acquisitions.
