The Michelin Guide's review
Situated between Scopello and San Vito lo Capo, Zingaro Nature Reserve (1 650ha), a limestone mountain which plunges steeply into the sea, is home to abundant wildlife, including around forty species of bird. In this region, one of the most unspoilt in Italy, a footpath runs along the coast, allowing walkers access to some idyllic tiny beaches. Three small museums provide information on the natural landscapes, flora and fauna, as well as the traditions of the people who live here.
