St-Pierre Cathedral
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Built for the most part in the 15C on the foundations of a Romanesque edifice, of which a dome in the south arm of the transept remains, St-Pierre Cathedral features an unfinished bell tower and huge buttresses. Its Flamboyant door sports angels, saints and prophets. Unity and simplicity characterise the interior. The Gothic nave and aisles are mainly 16C, while the organs are 17C and 18C.
