The Michelin Guide's review
In a gloriously unspoiled natural site, where sedimentary rocks marking the beginning of the plain of St Lawrence rub shoulders with the granitic gneiss of the end of the Canadian Shield, the Ste Anne du Nord River crashes down a narrow rocky crack forming an impressive waterfall which drops a total of 74m/243ft. Pleasant paths through woodland, dotted with lookout points, lead to the river and the falls where two suspension bridges command fine views.
