The Michelin Guide's review
This immense basilica was completed in the 11C with a cylindrical campanile. The interior is divided into three sections by marble columns adorned with splendid Corinthian capitals. However, it is the magnificent mosaics in the triumphal arch and chancel which capture the visitor's attention, both for their simplicity of composition and for their harmonious colours.
