The Michelin Guide's review
Built between 1688 and 1723, this stone church, topped by a single spire, stands on the site of Champlain's first outpost. The church was named in tribute to the resistance shown by Quebec City on two occasions when it was attacked by British forces. Inside, the altarpiece (1878, David Ouellet) of the high altar is worthy of note.
