The Michelin Guide's review
Today the heart of Lower Town, this charming cobblestone square was the hub of the city's economic activity until the mid-19C, when the port, and subsequently the area, fell into decline. Bordered by typical 18C stone houses, topped by steep roofs and chimneys, the square features a bronze bust of King Louis XIV as its centrepiece.
