The Michelin Guide's review
This tiny district, boasting narrow alleyways which give it the appearance of a village, extends to the west of the castle, between Sternberg Palace and Loreta Square. Nový Svět and Černínská streets have survived the various renovations of the district, offering a haven of peace and quiet for the artists and writers who now live here. In Kanovnická street, St John of Nepomuk church is the work of Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer (1729).
