The Michelin Guide's review
San Cataldo was founded in the 12C. The cubic shape of the building, its jagged merlons and its bulge domes make this one of the most accomplished examples of the Arab-Norman style. The sparsely decorated interior is divided into three naves, which are separated by Ancient columns retrieved from other monuments. The church is entirely paved in polychrome marble mosaic dating from the Norman period.
