The Michelin Guide's review
This spectacular 16C fountain by Francesco Camilliani is a fine example of the Renaissance style, with its procession of divinities placed in concentric circles in a magnificent balance organised by the tiers, balustrades and water features. In the background, the dome of Chiesa di Santa Caterina seems to crown the buildings hemming in the square: to the south of the Palazzo Pretorio, seat of the city council, and the church, San Giuseppe dei Teatini.
