The Michelin Guide's review
Located outside the ramparts to the north of the town beside the old main road, Senhor da Pedra Shrine is a Baroque construction built between 1740 and 1747. In a display case above the altar is a primitive stone cross dating from the 2C or 3C, which has an unusual representation of a small figure with its arms in a cross. Around the nave are niches containing several Baroque statues of apostles.
