The Monte Albán Museum can be explored before or after visiting the site. It contains the originals of the steles whose copies can be seen in their initial location, including the striking Danzantes with Olmec features or the steles of Captives. Among the many other objects on display, don't miss the beautiful Urn of the Lady with a Jaguar Headdress. To see the treasure found in tomb 7, you'll have to go to the Centro Cultural Santo Domingo de Oaxaca.
