The Montreal History Centre is located in a former fire station (1903), featuring elements of Dutch baroque architecture. Today the museum is dedicated to Montreal's history from 1535 to the present. Objects, videos, sound tracks and interactive modules provide a living testimonial of the economic, social and urban trends that influenced the city's colourful past and an insight into the lifestyle of Montreal's inhabitants.
