Woodlawn Park Cemetery
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Woodlawn Park Cemetery is one of Miami's largest and oldest (1913) cemeteries and is the final resting place for thousands of Cuban refugees. The dark black marble wall commemorates the "Unknown Cuban Freedom Fighter" killed in the attempted Bay of Pigs invasion in 1961. Two former exiled Cuban presidents, as well as Anastasia Somoza, former president of Nicaragua, are interred here.
