The Michelin Guide's review
The vestiges of the Fortress of the Sun date, in part, from the 13C, in particular the mighty keep and the Torre del Espolón, which were severely damaged by the 2011 earthquake. The themed space, as fun as it is informative, takes you back to the 13C, a journey undertaken with characters in period costumes. An exhibition looks at the historical and military importance of the castle, at the frontier of the Christian and Muslim worlds. This duality of cultures is brought up in the "Tierra de dos culturas" section.
