The old town stretches from the Nikolaifleet, the lake reserved for river sailing and tugboats (Binnenhafen) and the Zollkanal. Despite the air raids of the Second World War, historic Hamburg has not entirely disappeared. Look for the old houses on Cremon Street (N°33-36) and the "Hohe Brücke".
