Bodega Ysios
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Designed by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, this building evokes a wave which echoes the curves of the nearby Cantabrian mountains. Its silhouette brings to mind the type of glass canopy typical of Belle Époque buildings, or perhaps the type of bonnet worn by young ladies in the late 18C. Inside the building, vats and bottles have been arranged in a circular arch. The tasting room, with its soaring ceiling, offers views of the vats and the surrounding countryside.
