Former Town Hall of Göttingen

The Michelin Guide's review
The town hall, built in the 14C and 15C, has a characteristic medieval layout. In front of the façade stands the Goose girl fountain (Gänselieselbrunnen), the focal point of a student graduation ritual. At the south-east corner of the Markt, the view takes in four churches: St Alban's country-style dome to the east; St Michael's to the south; the octagonal towers of St John's to the west, and the splendid bell tower (72m) of St James' to the north.
