The Michelin Guide's review
Figeac's maze of narrow and winding streets hasn't changed since the Middle Ages. It is the setting of some superb medieval houses, whose lovely beige sandstone 12C, 13C and 14C buildings feature ground floors with large arcades and sculpted bays on the first floor. Under the flat roof, the soleilho was used to dry food, crafts or linen...Don't miss the lovely Place des Ecritures or the Champollion museum.
