The Michelin Guide's review
With its three naves of equal height, this vast Gothic hall-church (1487) has an undeniable majesty, entirely fitting for a building which has witnessed many momentous events: the baptism of future king of Hungary Mathias Corvin, the coronation of the principlity's rulers from the 17C, and the bishop's historic sermon condemning the extermination of the Jews in 1944. Note the fine 18C Baroque pulpit by two local artists, Johannes Nachtigall and Anton Schuchbauer.
