The Michelin Guide's review
This building, built in 1895 and considered to be one of the masterpieces of the Chicago School, is a real symphony of brick and terracotta. Pilasters jut out slightly on either side of the windows, creating a balanced framework which can be fully appreciated by standing in front of the entrance and looking up. The lobby is home to a stunning Tiffany glass mosaic which illustrates the journeys of French explorer Jacques Marquette.
