The Michelin Guide's review
The Rock of Cashel is evocative of early Christianity in Ireland with Cashel's jewel, Cormac's Chapel and the 28m/92ft-high round tower and next-door ruins of the 13C cathedral. Start in the museum, established in the manor crypt of the chapel masters, which displays items relating to the Rock, among which the cross of Saint Patrick, on which the Kings of Munster stood during their coronation.
