The Michelin Guide's review
This historic street in the Stampace quarter was famed for the horse races held here up until the 19C. Terraces of low-lying buildings and charming, colourful little houses are typical of the area. At the start of the street, you will notice the handsome façade of the church, Chiesa di Sant'Anna (1785), with its two bell towers, and, at the other end, the Chiesa di San Michele, a masterpiece of Jesuit and Spanish Baroque architecture.
