The Michelin Guide's review
The Magritte Museum exhibits some 250 of the 1 200 works by one of the leading lights of Surrealism, or the "immediate knowledge of reality", as he himself defined the movement. Drawings, oil paintings, gouache paintings, posters and sculptures, as well as photographs, political tracts and films give an overview of the artist's life and how his work evolved. Now, even in the middle of the night, a few windows of Hôtel Altenloh reflect the blue sky so often painted by the artist.
