The Michelin Guide's review
The lungs of the town, the marshes cover a 135ha/335-acre area divided into allotment gardens. Nowadays, the town's population of amateur gardeners pursue the work of the market gardeners who cultivated this site in the 17C, with its latticework of rivers, separated from the town itself by a gate. The upper marshes are accessible by boat, while the lower marshes are accessible on foot.
